Not wanting to Hi-Jack the thread, I still have two 525's which are available at a very reasonable price, or can be supplied in carburettor form at 540 hp ea.
I have a spare MSD ignition, exhausts etc. etc....
So anyone doing C-t-M can have a spare as well!

Can't seem to edit title anymore so heres some more info.
The engine is £10,000
2006 model bought in 2009
Refreshed in 2009 fully balanced race engine new bearings, rings, valves relapped.
Diesel coupling
Dry water pump
Said offshore front mount
Engine has not covered any miles since refresh but approximately 250hrs prior to refresh.(ecu data to be downloaded).
Some more photos to be posted...keep the appetite wetted!

Update re ECU data
The engine has covered far less hours than first estimated. The rpm breakdown shows it is unlikely the engine has ever been raced, it hasn't since we owned it thats for sure. Here is the data downloaded.
Run time total 62.9hrs
0-1999 rpm - 38.5hrs
2000-2499 - 1.1hrs
2500-3499 - 4.2hrs
3500- 4199 - 5.5hrs
4200- 4699 - 5.7hrs
4700-4999 - 3.8hrs
5000-5199- 2.4hrs
5200-5299- 0.5hrs
5300+ - 0.9hrs
Rpm limit 0sec

Is this the ex Jackie Hunt/Dragon motor that you bought a few years ago, and had a major catastrophe the first time you used it?

So you've already sold the knackered one? Didn't realise you bought more than one of them.

So is this engine knackered or not then? See you've put it on offshore only now, is that because race fan is right?

There are some people on this forum which are too negative and you know who you are sometimes she should keep your opinions to yourself if you don't know what you're talking about Trevor is probably the best V8 engine builder in the south coast and has a very good track record if he says that engine is good then it will be 110% that's all I'm saying I will leave it up to you guys to make your own mind up
