Hi Taz

Right you lot I meet this guy on the river Crouch in Essex, Imagaine my suprise to see a FAST (its rare to se a powered one) boat on the horizon as I power up the river and round the corner. I am delighted to discover that its a phantom 20 like my own! Go over say hi to a fellow Essex Phantom owner. Tell him about BOATMAD.com hes happy to find a "friendly teachniacl forum" and you guys take the piss out of his engine. Not nice For what its worth Taz's 275 on his phantom 20 looked massive compared to my XR2 also on a phnatom 20. We didnt race as such but it goes like a bat put of Hell and my boat according to Carl is setup just right.

Conclusion:
1) Be nice to new members (especially ESSEX Phantom Owners)
2) That engine is quick compared to mine (XR2)and looks MASSIVE
3) People come here for advice NOT abuse

I have said what was needed to be said - work in IT and IT forums are always flamming each other. I was hoping Boat forums would be a bit more friendly!

Chaos have u got an engine for yours yet?
You could see how fast Taz's one goes!
Have u even had it on the water yet?

Would be good to get all three of them (phantoms) together one day ..... Essex Boyz ! We need to give these Solent boys a run for their money!
