as i was whitnes to this transaction the truith is the person who did this deal for pash1 was told not do it to by meany people as he had not seen the boat he swaped for he swaped an £8000 offshore racing cat with a 300 promax on for a £3000 ski boat which was supposed to be in mint condition he got a big shock when it turned up but he sead a deal is a deal and stuck to it he is a verry honest man like that as far as the £600 went he had only agread to £300 but when he saw the condition of the boat that turned up he sead ive lost enough money in the swap ant gave the driver a letter saying that . there was nothing else in the letter he was verry disapointed with the condition of the boat it has cost £1480 to get it reliable to date the guy has lost enough money in the deal but he wanted a smaller boat due to ill health
how much more money dose he have to lose if any one wants to contact him there is no problem with this he will be happy to tell them the truith
he still has all the emails of the person who posted this post saying how happy he was with the boat he got im not suprised it must have been like winning the lottery geting a boat like that for £3000 im verry disapointed with the person who posted this letter and would ask people to ask themselvs who has done who

Trust a lawyer? I DON'T THINK
I was there when the boat arrived and it was a shed, the picture must have been taken when pash 1 was new, because it was certainly not worth the swap for the cat, in fact if it was me doing the swap I would have turned the driver right back to you with it. You fell in love with the cat when you saw it, and couldn't wait to get it, so stop your moaning and your slanderous efforts to discredit a decent and honest man, who has spent a small fortune trying to get your effort of a boat ready to go!!

Nice Paint job
Looks like an ice cream van.
Real class
(Spent £1480, a small fortune,)
Errrr, if this is your idea of a small fortune think he's taken up the wrong hobby.
After the paint job what did he spend the other £1430 on?

Surely one or both parties could have walked away if the deal was bad.

Pash 1
Believe me he wishes he had, its been a nightmare since day one. The reason he took the boat was because he had already given his word, and he NEVER goes back on is word. He doesn't deserve all this grief. By the way GD whats your boat like? Plain, No Imagination?

once again
boat amd becomes bitch mad, AGAIN
i feel sorry for both parties involved and as an outsider looking in i do not wish to comment on the circumstances and get invilved in things i dont know about, but i will say this
i dont realsie why, pash, if it was a straight swap for the cat, and you lost out on the transport deal, i still think you got a bloody good deal, the motors got to be worth what you ring was that alone
i have not seen either craft an am able to comment, but, surely if anyine decided to buy this boat then thats their decsion, why bring a personal issue to everyones attention now??
this isnt me having a dig, far from it, just curious is all

I Think the Latin words are "Caveat emptor" I sent at least 20 pictures of Pash 1 to the prospective buyer - I drove nearly 600 miles to see the Cat and what did the buyer do?? Nothing!!!
I get fed up with single post members getting on here and questioning an honest opion of a member,
The Facts of the matter are He diddnt come down to see the boat despite my requests to do so, he didn't pay the money for the transport, and I let it go...
Pash 1 or what ever its called now was and is a good boat, the engine is nackered according to the new owner and he was going to put a new engine on.....
Good luck to anyone buying the boat - its a good boat but the owner ....
What a shame Speedy boy and speedygirl didnt take the time to come and see the boat before their associate did the swap......
P.S to be a witness you must be there - you wern't therefore your not a witness - unless thats whats called a witness up north..

In a swap someone tends to get a better deal than the other. Who did on this occasion

Speedygirlie,
In order to be slanderous I must of in some way defamed the character of the peroson involved I was very carefull not to do so. If you take the time to read my post "Word for Word" It was in no was slanderous. Each and every member of this forum will make his or her own mind up as to the characture of the vendor.
P.Speedygirlie, the legal definition of "Slander" is: Oral communication of false statements injurious to a person's reputation.
I have "Said Nothing" as this is a written communication and not a verbal one!
