That looks like Greg Bassams yard @ GB Watersports. I would assume thats either a leftover boat from when Trios were moulding the 21s or more likely a stock boat from the guys at Cobra that Greg ahs managed to get a good deal on.

Speak to him, he's a great fella to deal with.

Got this reply
Seems fair and honest enough, worth a chat if anyone's interested

Hi, boat was made from from original mould but is new and not made by steve baker as he stopped making them in 98. Any further info, please call us on 01733 322109

Hi guys thought i'd come on and introduce myself my name is martyn i'm the production manager at cobra ribs . and now proudly own the mould tools for the phantom 21 . Cobra no longer manufacture the 21 due to being exremely busy with building the ribs and also the cost of manufacturing the 21 makes it a little over priced for people so i now build them in my spare time at my own works.

The one pictured is a plain white one manufactured for greg by myself as he is now a dealer for the phantom 21 .

i have had a great deal of experience building the 21 since cobra bought the tooling in 2007 and have tried to keep to the original spec by mr steve baker . The price of the 21 now has been reduced alot due to my overheads being low so hopefully the 21 will now be a very attractive boat to own , they will be produced as complete boats fully upholstered and in lots of styles and colours in gel coat not sprayed an engine ready boat will be £8995
including cleats stainless tank bilge pump fully carpeted and trimmed in whatever colour and design.

Thanks Martyn

Thanks for your comments . I have a great passion for the phantom range of boats and didnt want to see it go to a bad home as i've kept that mould in pristine condition never left outside since cobra have had it plus i couldn't resit making myself another since i sold my pride and joy last year and seeing it down hamble every time i drop a boat off has urged me to have one again.

And yes you could say the price is cheap but it covers the cost of making it and the pride in seeing them out on the water. They are by no means built with budget materials all scott bader gels and resin and all european glass with douglas fir and genuine marine ply transoms not wbp .

Thanks Martyn

I will have two demo boats a racey version with plenty of horse power e.g a new 300xs and a more sedate version with a 150/200 on and will be holding a demo weekend where anyone is more than welcome to try them out i know most have been in one but ! But i would really like to show how good the quality and ride is with the later model that i am producing as a few things have been added making the boat feel a little more solid .

Thanks martyn

I am a good friend of Russell Williams, the guy whom paid £5000 to buy into this venture as a 50% share holder of these P21 moulds, with yourself, back in August this year. (To clarify, the moulds cost 10K)
To cut a lonnng story short.....He has been waiting patiently to get started on the production of these boats......but unfortunately, since the deal was struct, he has been given varied reasons (by yourself) as to why production couldn't go ahead.

I therefore find it rather strange that you make NO mention of him in your claim to be the proud owner of these phantom 21 moulds.

He was both unaware of this thread or of any P21 Dealers.....Despite being a 50% share holder.

To date he has given you benefit of the doubt.....BUT!!!!

I would be very interested in your explanation.....as I'm sure would he!!!!

Rgds

Steve
