Maybe you should have some cupping shaved off the back of it.
I thought the ET was supposed to be almost as fast as a chopper but with none of the handling problems?

the genuine one is
i also have a 24" ET copy which does exactly as dan says. way to much bow lift and in rough is uncontrollable on my P20 hence my new floor.
I have been running Scott's (Badboy 717) genuine ET 24" for the past 6 weeks which is fantastic and has none of the handling problems or excessive bow lift. it also does not put out a rooster tail which is great for ski racing unlike my copy. and its 8mph faster than a laser II.
my only complaint about it is it's slightly too taller pitch for my setup and the worst bit is he's having back this weekend

To be fair the laser II you tried was 2.5" lower in pitch than the ET and your motor was on the limiter!!!

i would not say its uncontrolable. i,m fairly certain this would be a very good prop for somebody with a boat thats heavier than mine. i mostly run with one person and one seat on a very light hull.

I wouldnt pay you in shit for an ET copy! Seems everyone who has one is selling it and putting the money towards an original ET.
Know what I'm sayin' ?
