Marathon Race boat for sale

As it looks like we won't have enough sponsorship for the London Monte race we are putting the BananaShark Stirling 34 up for sale ready to race and if necessary with the option of support for the event. The boat is available in a number of different configurations from fully rigged as it is ready to race or without engines and drives.

The boat is fully rigged with Yanmar BY260's that use under 2 litres per mile, ZF gearboxes and Arneson drives. The boat is fully rigged with harnesses and air as well as all of the necessary safety equipment including liferaft, EPIRB etc. There is a full Raymarine electronics package with two 14" widescreen displays linked to DSC VHF and AIS and two slave displays for the driver.

For full details on what's included and pricing for various options let me know what you want and we can go from there - the hull must go before I think of splitting it please!

Secure air bottle storage under the seats

Throttlemans display

Navigators display

Deposit accepted. Thanks for the interest in the boat and the good wishes from everyone - it's a shame the boat won't be in the Venture Cup under the BananaShark name but it will hopefully still be doing the race!

Cookie did the boat ever see light of day after you sold her? Seems a shame that she no longer races. Do you know if the new owner had plans to race or pleasure use only? Thanks.

I haven't been here for a while, just had notification of the thread being updated!

Last I heard the plan was to possibly put outboards on the back which would have been feasible as the bustle was only bolted and glued on, I believe the Yanmar's were sold but not sure what's happening now - I think she's in Wales? Haven't heard anything for a while.
