And yeh small boats are great for a blast around and that's about it.

Yes the rams were for a sterndrive.

The outboard/sterndrive debate continues I see.

I've owned both and like both. But when it comes to big heavy offshore boats, I have to give the nod to the sterndrive.

Smaller boats like my old 24 Skater are very well served by outboards.
