merc 40 s/s

all the bits included, tank, remotes, prop, electric start etc etc.

needs work as steering pivot is seized.
not been run for about six months, looks like it could do with a service.

brand new control cables included

good DIY project for a kids speedboat, tooooo big for my lads!

Had one of them on a 12' sorcerer, scary stuff, mine was working ok along with the steering took 200 for it 6 months ago.

Well it came with the boat when we bought it but ran really well, however, too big for KClass. Here's the boat it came off after the re-fit...

only paid 500 for boat, trailer & engine off e-bay, must admit though the starter was a little dodgy but could still pull start it. The guy who bought it sorted the starter and is well chuffed with the motor so all in all they're a good little motor & with that multi-pin plug you can remove it quickly for winterizing too.

Gav, get the exhaust chest "hogged out" and stick it on a 25 foot gill bracket, and have a 1.5 amp alternator fitted, stick it on a powerlift with 10 foot rise/fall. she'd be a world beater mate! (Oh, and a few bling bits n bobs + a fury dice)

It won't handle worth a shit, will be slower and less reliable than a stock one, but what the heck!
