Mercury 2.5 hi-performance engine

Posted on behalf of another forum member 'Dangerous'

This is an original Merc 2.5 'carbed' offshore 20" 245hp

Gearbox rebuilt when purchased including new 2:1 gears new driveshaft, propshaft,bearings and seals etc.
Powerhead was rebuilt in 2004 by GB Watersports and purchased early 2005 for use in the World Water-Ski Racing Championships’. Has only done approx 4 hours since worlds. Includes trim pump and holley fuel pump, however the steering is NOT included;

All in vgc £3400 ono

anyways i see having a V8 on the back of ya boat as a method by which to gain lots of street cred!

saw a Frode 23 with a 300 back cruising around Stockholm a few years ago - looked pretty cool.

Kind of engine that looks better when your'e idling!
