Sounds like a lot of work, you must be pleased with it to want to put so much effort into a big project like that.

Why dont you put your 300 on the P18?

Efi's weigh less than an xr2, promax 300's weigh nearly twice as much as a 2.5 efi.

Thats nearly has heavy as my 3 litre promax, I think a 2.5 efi weighs less than 300 lb's

xr2 is 175 kgs
standard 300 promax is 208 kg

Good luck with that on your P20
You will only use the extra power on very flat water, any other time an XR2 or a 200 would have been ample

Have you fitted trim tabs?
