Mercury 20" gearbox suit 135-225hp V6

Mercury gearbox 2:1 ratio.
Recently stripped for inspection.
Could do with a lick of paint otherwise good working order.

This is a top loaded box, and no the gears will not fit a bullet casing......already tried that!!

This will suit any V6 merc from 135 - 225 20" shaft (standard)

Price £200

This is a complete gearbox in good working order ready to bolt on.
Absolute bargin at £200
It was only stripped down because i wanted to swap the components into a Bullet box, but as the gears are top loaded you can't swap them out.
You can see from the picture the box is complete and ready to go.

So is this a pre 'alpha' style gear cluster? ie, with a spring loaded pin/detent fella sticking out the top of the downshaft?

those gears were cut so that when running the pinion is pulled into the fwd/rev set, the later 'alpha' style had the pinion being pushad away from the gears (upwards)

if it's in good order, it sounds cheap for someone 'in need'
