Well Dodgy, the twin XR2 powered Mostes from Stone club is pictured in the Hunstanton worlds photographs from Memories Ink. It's boat 197, you'll have to search for it as you can't import a picture due to copyright. The engines are also longshaft. http://www.memoriesink.net/Action%20...lds%202005.htm

yes I'm sure 'litttle' Dave to whom Ross refered is the same guy whe has the yellow mostes at the stone. Since the hunstanton worlds; he bought martin McG's original black cylone 21 and re rigged it with his XR2's from the mostes.

'Lil' Dave' hasn't parted with the Mostes and as far as I know has no plans to do so. The engines on the 'clone have just been converted to short shaft and are also no longer XR2's. Another Mostes that people may remember is the beautifully prepared "Italian Job" from the Varne Club. That boat also did the national ski races originally powered by a Johnson 2.6GT and then a V8.

Remember the one Greggorio won the world title behind in 1995. Think it was powered by a BPM inboard engine. Looked crap but went like stink !
