Nissan Patrol

Staring price 1p, no reserve!!!!
Chassis needs welding - and some scrotes dented the bumper, bonnet & rear door.
Was gonna weld it myself, but just can't be arsed.

Nah, it's 4.2 litre naturally aspirated.
Actually does better mpg than my new 2.5 turbo pajero - really, I'm not tekkin the piss.

Didn't take it for an MOT - spotted the rust and couldn't be arsed to weld it myself so just bought a new car.
And bodywork isn't great - as you can see from the photo's.

I've seen 90ish out of it. It's not a revvy motor like smaller turbo motors, but it's got lots & lots of torque. I like the motor.

Towed Adams cat down to italy and back with it. Only tough bit was high up in the mountains in the thin air where the turbo motors kept pulling but the NA motor wasn't so good.

But, I don't want to oversell it - that rust isn't great and it's got a few dents.

Yeh. I only stopped driving it cos tax & mot ran out, and then coincidentally, the batteries stopped holding charge too.

There are 2 other bits of chassis that need patching - but they're minor compared to the biggie in the pics.

Just thinking what else might be wrong with it - the fuel tank might have a very very slight leak, or it (more likely I think) be from when I spilt fuel takign the tank out to weld the chassis - and then change my mind. It's missing 1 of the rear seatbelts too.

A tankful is 70 quid, that typically do a fraction over 400 miles, though I did see 460 on a run once. Being brick shaped, makes a big difference on how ya drive it.

At that price I'm not surprised there are no takers.

Probably the most expensive car ever advertised on Boatmad.

Ana needs a 'something' to drive now she is about to get her licence!

One week to go before her test.

We have done 4 lessons. Parking next. Then a runout with a registered instructor, and then the test!

Just the way it should be!

Been offered a grand for buy it now, but since it's going well will leave it to run. Am quite surprised by the response, bearing in mind I've disclosed all it's bad points, including a photo of the rust!

I thought your 2p bid was particulary generous!
