Not been out in the sea yet - maybe next weekend weather permitting.

What prop did you run & what speed did you get ?

I ran a 4 blade 25 prop and the best i got was 76, i also tried a high five and it pulled so hard it nearly flipped.
Should also state when i got 76 i lost the back seat and engine cover and had to go back and pick them up, hence pins on engine cover.

How the hell did you manage to get a 5.7efi to rev that high, the limiter is set at 5150!

Havn't had the boat on the plane yet. Speed limit in Bristol Docks is only 6 knots watched over by a keen harbour master.

Can't believe a standard 5.7EFI would rev to 5800 without letting go !!

A standard motor will normally run between 4500 - 4900 rpm.

Must admit I wasn't expecting to get 70+ mph, that's quicker than the Ring.

Will let you know more once I have tried it in the sea.

It got a 5.7EFI (single point fuel injection) which i guess is the 350 magnum. It looks like the original motor.

1997 / 1998 vintage I believe. Does that tie in with when you owned it?

Thanks

Any evidence of its history would be appreciated.

The bloke I bought it from was somewhat vague.
