20 inch offshore mids are 10 a penny (or so I'm told) and are hence not worth much, £300 tops. When Burty was looking for a 15 inch mid he told me that someone he spoke to had loads of them that they couldnt get rid off. Can't remember who it was but I'm sure Burty will let you know if you ask or if he reads this.

offshore mids have a beefed up saddle, big heavy duty single trim and tilt ram and the exhuast comes out above the water line so they're loud as f**k

I have an offshore box but the exhuast comes out via the gear box hub. Whats the advantages of an offshore midsection?

They're stronger the motor won't bounce on the ram as much in the rough and they look and sound cooler.
