The bid ended at 10 oclock Sunday and I had to go to bed early to get up at 4 am and got outbid by quite a long way. It went for £4700 in the end. Although it was probably worth that, I would have been reluctant to bid higher just seeing the pictures without having a good look 'in the flesh'

I thought it was a done deal and it was yours, proves how much a bid can get inflated in the final minutes on Ebay.

I agree with your sentiments that its a lot of money to spend without seeing the actual product, you never know if you are buying a dog or not.

Hope you are sucessful in your search.

Chris,

I see the Phantom that you lost out on the other week is being relisted on Ebay due to non payment, perhaps it would be worth a cash offer and see if he is prepared to do a deal.

I know of a black with the red orange and yellow graphics (all in original gel) P20 with an 200 xr2 for sale. pm me if you want the number. Its got a few stress cracks down the side but what Phantom hasn't. He said he'd split the outfit as well.
Happy hunting

Thanks for all the replies. I have now bought a P20 with a 200 ELPT. Although boat and engine are both quite old, I know the previous ownew who has had it from new and looked after it really well and it hasn't been raced. It also came with loads of extras and spares, so I am pleased with it and lookung forward to picking it up next week and getting it on the water.
