Must be pretty rapid the 2.8 diesals dont go bad specially if u tweak them up a bit. The missus want to get a evolution pajero they look top but couldnt imagine the fuel bill

looking at all the work thats been done to this van, buliding a 2.4 cossie motor was the easy bit. But anyway yes its a 2.4, its got a long throw steel crank, short rods, forged pistons and all that good stuff. Don't know what turbo it is. Its got a transit gearcase with cossie internals so the gear stick is in the correct place too, rather than behind you as with other conversions.

The 2.4's got huge low down torque compared to a 2.0 as so is really well suited to the van.

The Pajero is about 210bhp I think, anyway it doesnt hang about even when 4 up towing cyes Bernico.

Taz it's running a T35 turbo and as Jonny said it's a 2.4.
Very nice peice of kit.

Now then anyone want to buy my Pajero.
