Patriot needs some bits

Hi all.

Healing well and waiting to get back out there, sooooooon. Would like to find the following: An "In Control" (or similar, that allows foot and hand control) foot throttle, A bennett trim tab pump (new, or nearly new), A jack plate (hydraulic), A Physical trim indicator unit (fitted to engine) and an indicator like this http://boatmad.com/forum/attachment....6&d=1217004784 for trim and jack plate (or x 4, to include trim tabs, if possible), Indicator stalk type switches, for trim and jack plate. 5 spare ribs (not the inflatable type) and a spare lung.

Must be willing to post to Mallorca, or take payment and await collection.

Cheers Pete

Fitting a 'jack plate' will, in my opinion, increase the probability of you hooking it again.

Hi Jon, Thanks for letting me know. I would like to avoid a repeat. What's the reason for the jack plate making it more likely? I am trying to have the best of both worlds, to have the engine lower, for skiing etc and higer for speed. What's your opinion?

Pete, I hooked my 20' three times, once because a trim tab broke, once due to running at 80mph with water in the bow tank and the wrong prop (this one scared me) and the third time was too much trim into a corner, I ran mine approx 1" below and found this was fine both for top speed and pulling a skier.
Different props work better at different heights. some need to be surface piercing like choppers, ET's etc other work better running 2 to 3" below like lasers, trophys etc.

Thanks for that Burty. I am having trouble with hole shot and pulling a skier. I'm hoping that the jack plate will give me the best of both worlds. Any other ideas welcome.
