Perfect tow rig!...

Hi all,

I'm selling my tow truck to fund a new car for reasons detailed below, here's a copy and paste from the navara forum, thought it may be of interest to some on here....

I'm looking to sell my Navara. I bought her when I first started my business as she did everything I needed all in one package. Now the business has developed, I've got spare vans, I'm looking to buy a tractor to tow with and I'd like to go back to a car for day to day use.

She's only had one owner before me, and has always been looked after regardless of cost, this is shown by her condition! In the year of me owning her nothing has ever broken or needed replacing other than the battery. In this time I have added the following...

15" x 10" alloys with brand new BFG All Terrains (original alloys & tyres included)
2" lift with shackles/ torsion adjust
Heaviest duty tow bar available
Colour coded snug top (modified to fit over rollbar)
New battery
Side exit exhaust (I still have the original which can be included/fitted for sale)
Spare mint rollbar (current one has a couple of scuffs)

She's in immaculate condition inside and out, only defects to bodywork are a small scuff to the underside of the front bumper and a tiny pin dent in the tailgate. Mileage is currently 103,000. 100k of these were UK miles before i brought her over. She's never ever been offroaded other than crossing the odd field or garden. The vinyls were only added 2 months ago and will al be profesionally removed before she's sold.
Original quipment includes climate control and rear LSD, I believe these are extras.
I'm based in Guernsey but I'm looking to come over to buy my new car when she sells, so could deliver to most of the UK within reason.

Looking for £3995, not interested in part ex unless you have a 200sx or something massively underpriced!

Any questions, please email larbys@live.co.uk or call 07781 122 363 any time.

Thanks for looking, James

They are a touch nice eh! I don't really wanna get rid of her but just can't resist another 200sx any longer!

It's a 2001 model, quite rare in this shape, bloomin gorgeous though! IMO, you get the best of both worlds with the snug top, you can't take the back off a surf!
Would be good to see it go to a good local home too.

nissan

Should find out whats going on with the insurance soon and i'll let you know. If you sell it in the mean time then you will have to let her go.
But i will vouch for the Nissan it is a good truck.

Ha ha, I've always been a total car nut! I'm really not into the whole kevvy thing, but have always liked Jap cars, especially the 200sx. I love my Navara but it just feels like a work vehicle to me now and I quite like having a car.

Diablo - Thats cool, I'm hoping for a reasonably quick sale but will keep in touch. Sent you a message today but not sure I got the right number, broke my old phone!

Cheers, James

Ha ha, I'm not taking those off till I've got a confirmed sale, don't wanna risk ending up keeping it, those cost me £100 a month ago!

Had plenty of interest now but no actual sale yet...
