Wow - that looks like my old boat - can't be many Phantom 16's in red and yellow and called Funky Phantom!

I had it in 1979 and raced the Cancer Research race in it! Hard to believe it was that long ago - but guess I was only 15 at the time.

If it is the same boat - it was very different inside and had an 85xs Merc. The boat was previously called 'The Hampshire Bowman' and was raced to much success and championships in 3B class by Dick Pierce.

... inside renewed last winter and fitted with xr2hp200 she became a funky and fast friend

will see if I can track down any photos - sign writing looks the same. It was number 350 when I had it as that was father's number from when he raced class 2.
