Wayne do i take it you used to Race for Kevin's team then with all the other boys and girls in the Emirates team ?

Spoke to Splitpin yesterday who had spoken to his brother who confirmed that the actual hull was the original hull that we raced in Class III 1.3L which had the race deck removed and then open deck put on to race OCR, so that probably has not done it many favours as far as stabilit goes.

Yup, I was in Kevins team. The first race I done for him was Windermere 2001. The scrutineer pick up the fact that the floor below the two seats was rotten, my navi & me had to replace it before the race! The boat run "pants" because all the woodwork was waterlogged, but still beat Kevins son to the flag.

That's the trouble with a team, all the boat looked exactly the same!

Ended up in with Christen in the 19 the following year when Kevin went ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, "On Holiday" !!!!
