Was 'Dog Gone' on display in Cowes c. 7-8 years ago ?
Red hull ?

On another note, no idea of gentlemans name, but one of the membership girls at the country club I am a member of, father used to be an engineer on Lamborgini race marine engines. Figure he will be in his 50s, as daughter in her 20s. If anyone needs help on Dog Gone's engines I could find out more, and see if this chap would like to help.

Doggone Again Was On Show In Cowes 5 Years A Go Powered By Lambos, Doggone Was Also Red, Bertram 38 And Was My First Lambo Boat. I Also Had A Yellow Extream 26 With Lambo, "a Hand Full". I All Ways Worked On The Engines Myself Till It Was Major Then Thay Went Back To Lambogini. Thay Are Very Good Engines I Only Manage To Destroy 1 In 10 Yaers.

Took my breath away then - and it was not even on the water.
Will look forward to seeing photos of it now.

Thank you for the reply.

Personally I would love to own the Bertram 38 - it just has great classic lines - but I would need two things, some serious money (to re-engine her) and stronger legs (to be at sea for 4/5 hours every day for fourteen days).

Back to the real world I suppose.
