Roll up roll up got the Gorilla lifter and salmon gear and bow tank control .
Will be competing this weekend final race of the year in Guernsey.
Iminent arrival forces sale a down to earth price-must shift.

Just dialed in the computer before race weekend the mechanic was surprised to see only 14 hours on it.
By Monday after the race weekend double hitter it will be 16-17 hours as new.
Lovely motor 200 xs just £8000 on short shaft 15'' mid offshore leg and 1.87 sports master with Ocke nose cone

With all respect that isn't anything like a bat boat! It's the (as in the only) Slipstream designed by Lorne Campbell.

cookee!!

its a winged monohull mate so is evidently very much like a bat - certainly much more than something like a phantom is and the designer Lorne had the idea before Ocke - as has been posted on here before with designs and dates etc - and the Rendalls raced it in the 2004 national series and beat all the ocke bat boats anyway and won the national championships then the boat went to the lake and ran 82.64 mph with an XR2 so having owned an ocke mannerfelt batboat myself for 4 years and having driven this C10 Lorne Bat boat myself a number of times also i feel qualified to inform you that it is every bit a bat boat (which is just a nick name) and for my money i think it is actually better. it is amazing in the rough, is so well weighted and balanced (big d put up that pic of you flying out the water last weekend dead level) and as the rendalls showed - capable of beating ocke mannerfelt bat boats

That would make the boat we raced that year in Class III 2 litre a Bat RIB then ......... We must have beaten that boat as we won more than one race that year and went on to win the RIB formula One championship the following year in the same boat. By the way I know the Rendall's quite well and am currently doing some business with Kevin.

I guess we'll have to agree to differ on the bat boat thing as I believe it applies to Mannerfelt boats and not even the Backdraft copies.

It is a great boat and I do remember very nearly destroying it at the Gibraltar finals (I think it was that year) as the spun out in front of us and we came very close to taking off the front of the boat - to this day I couldn't tell you how we missed then as I closed my eyes at the last moment!

And Renato Levi had those ideas 20 years earlier still, as seen in his book Dhows to Deltas., though his drawing really do look like a bat boat, a V24 to be precise.

Cookee if the bats that live in your area don't have wings then I suppose you could call your banana shark a bat rib.I think you only shared the underwater section as can't remember your rib having a9ft4" beam.
I also remember you had a much larger engine on it then a 200 that C10 had
Maybe that's why you were faster ?
