Race lifejackets and helmets?

On behalf of most of the people in guernsey looking to race in our basic races (me included!)...

Any idea where the cheapest place is to buy race lifejackets and helmets? Would anyone like to offer a bulk buy discount if a bunch of us get together and do a group buy?

Cheers, James

If your looking to purchase bulk, say in excess of 10 items, then you'll probably be best going direct to the manufacturer.

hi larby
my mate is a nitro helmets dealer,
he will even do dark visors (for off road use only of course)

if you get sizes and numbers together he'll work out a price for you.

If you value your head get the best helmet you can afford. Mark the guy who flipped his cat at Coniston wore a Nitro helmet and the rivets on the strap pulled through the side of the helmet causing it to come off.

Thanks for all the advice guys, i couldn't agree more when it comes to getting the best kit you can afford, I'm proably more likely than most to be using it with being in a cat!
Thank you very much for all of the traders who hve sent me PM's, once i have some idea of quantities needed i will be in touch with everyone to see what offers people can do.
If anyone else is looking for this kind of equipment (such as bigboy), please get in touch via PM, obviously the bigger the order the better!

Cheers, James

Absolutely agree - I wouldn't race with anything that wasnt SA2005 rated - which is superior to BS - Believe BS is same as the M2005 rating (Motorbikes)
