I have decided to sell my rc boat as in the past year I have used it once, one because it scares the shit out of me and two because there are no ponds/lakes big enough over here in Guernsey to use it.
ToySport Jolly 36" Cat Hull. Hand built in Hungary, one of the fastest rs hulls ever put into production, very rare and hard to come by. The hull alone was over $600.00.
I chose to power this with a Castle 60,000 RPM 16,000KV Brushless Motor.
Powering the motor is a Sworsfish 240A Lipo ESC with Added BEC.
Radio Gear is 2.4GHz Futaba.
All running gear, brackets servo arms etc are custom made using marine grade stainless.
I run 4 x 40c 5000 lipos at once which is seriously fast but keeps run time and reliability up. This boat is seriously quick and in the right conditions will do 90mph.
This is not a toy!
To build this boat now would cost you almost £2000 with the lipos.
The youtube link is not my boat, it is the same hull just a different set up. this guy is running two smaller motors I'm running one bigger which leave more room for more battery power. With some set up and prop changes there is no reason why the boat I'm selling couldn't do over 100mph too!
