Restoration Of A 162 Marshan

Any body give us advise regarding what primer to use ,we are back to the original gel coat on our boat wich is now in 2 halves .The colour is orange we have put new floors in and is all fibre glassed and gel coated in .Also we have a repair on the front top lip and was wondering any advise what the best materials to use .Colour orange was going to repaint in the same colour and stick a v6 200 on this little babe when she is finished ,any help ideas more than welcomed Happy boating .....

A V6 200 GOOD LUCK I had one with a 90 tohatsu 59 mph and then another with 140 yam 64 mph all set up messing around ( so good grip) Put fuel tank up the bow !!!!! As for primer if your using a good 2 pak epoxy paint you wont need it. You are spraying not painting ? My spelling might not be right but Hilkley Valtone in plymouth are very good will help you out with mixing ratio etc...

Thanks mate we had a v6 175hp on it before and that was quick untill the power head broke ,FUEL tank up front good call .Thanks for the paint advice any idea what colour these marshans were painted in mine is like a burnt orange but not sure the colour code or name .All the best.......
