The brand name "Ring" cannot legally be used for copies as 'passing Off' is a serious offence and Trading Standards just love a easy target!
Trading Standards will be overjoyed to find a recent build without a CE mark .
In order to protect our dealers interests and our own investment and reputation we work closely with Trading Standrds and other agencies to eradicate this menace within the Marine Industry.
There is so much more that you need to be aware of , but it all costs a lot of money and is not worth the effort of messing with poor copies when the genuine article can be bought on the s/h market for a fraction of the cost of building new.
Sympathetically restored classic UK sportsboats of all makes are now gaining in value and are highly sought after.

And a Happy Christmas and New Year to all Ring Owners and our pals on the Dark Side in the Phantom pond !
