xr2 plus 30'd. Built by geoff at ocean racing it had done about 15hrs when i sold it. I bought the engine off of little pete. It was on his marshan. Early type 20" mid section to. Bobs machine shop alien cowl. Dont think the guys done anything to it but use it though! Hope that helps ya matt.

Oh and the "uprated" gearbox is a standard 2:1 cle.

Spoke with the guy who bought Scotty's p21 today, he got it for £3100 but he's having problems with engine overheating.

He's going to use it for fun, he reckons it will only run 64 flat out and is after another engine.

Yeah best i saw really was 65 with that prop he's got! Had a little more with another i had but minimal! The boat is quite heavy! If ya got big balls like "old beardy" then ya can maintain that across anything though!

Sounds like an XR2! Probably made up from the left overs of one of my engines.

64 Mph was max for me too.
