Small Speedboat wanted

Anyone have a small speedboat they dont want? no bigger than 11', preferably 9 or 10'. Must be fooooookin cheap or even free!

Also 8 or 10hp motor wanted.

Its for my 8 yr old son! So it needs to be small. i have considered knocking up an 11' boat out of the 14' mould but then i would have to mess around with the deck

Someone must have one lying in their garden or summat!

I think the Bristol hull is 14', blufin would know, i'm sure.


Gav, what you need is an 'Apollo', they're 9'6", deep'V' and great fun.

There were quite a few copies/derivitives, such as the 'Seafire', CB-9 and others that were lower in the freeboard, so accepted a short shaft motah (15")

One of these with a 15 Yam would be excellent for ya boy.

I had one years ago, will find and post a pic.

mate its got a citroen AX GT engine in it with straight thrus.........sounds a beast...................you reckon you want your 8 yr old boy to drive it unaided?
