Specialist phantom 23 for sale
Hi All,
Our trials with the Phantom 23 hull form are now complete. Really successful - thank you to everyone who helped and gave me some steers early on. (see Is this a Phantom 23 and Filming at sea).
The boat is now up for sale. Its been extensively re-built like a tank (Bow structure; dash; floor and (crucially) transom) and in its stripped out; strengthened and A-Framed form it still made 68MPH. Its handling characteristics came down to the limitations of its original design and (being a company) we will need to make clear to the new owners how to handle it.
We aren't in a rush to sell her as there are general experiments that we can crack on with and (being a commercial entity) we need to make back as much of the outlay on her extensive work as we can - thus there will always be cheaper P23s out there
Details are here:

I think this is the mission system "Mission system (fitted 2013) includes C120 Raymarine plotter; AIS tx / rx; analogue radar; smoke grenade firing panel; fixed VHF radio; 1000 watt speaker system with 4 speakers and sub woofer. Full helmet / tank headset intercom system with bluetooth / VHF / recording facility. "
As to why it costs so much?
Not sure about this 23 but every other Phantom I have heard about works better without a bracket.

I was working on the fact that a well sorted phantom is about 8k +/- a couple of thou, so the other 14 must be the mission system.

Can you tell us what these missions were? Or would you have to kill us afterwards?

The only mission I can see this doing is a fast flypast whilst blasting out the national anthem at 1000Watts and leaving a smoketrail behind so you don`t get an asbo......LOL.
