I used to do the same with database quotes. If you say a conversion will take 20 hours it looks like a thumb suck. If you 18 and a half hours it looks like you know exactly what you are doing, and usually your quote gets preferance.

it may well equate to a plus vat amount, but no its not an inc vat price.

i thought it would give someone room to bid on it ,maybe all the way down to 900 but then thats to easy
