You didnt buy these did you? Odd how the seller is brand new with no past history of sales. On boats and outboards recently I found an evinrude going cheap and that was meant to be on the 'isle of islay', soon realised the ' susan lyee' I was talking to was a scammer and has gone under the name 'susan lee' before and caught others out. This seems very similar to me! I hope that the person hasnt paid yet via an unsafe method!

that wasn't the 1999 direct injection one was it? I enquired about that if it was too...

The engine I was looking at was a 200 225 fitch ram evinrude, the serial number was stated and they even sent photos, but its when you ask for a number to call to talk about the engine and they give reply ' I have a baby and it hasnt slept for days, just email, i cant deal with this' then dont ever respond again when you mention suspicions of a scam!

Same advert... I actually found a contact number for them, but that's EXACTLY the response I got.

Those engines eat pistons anyway, so I wasn't bothered.

Hahaha, well before I knew it was a scam I looked into that engine model and it was made in the bad years before brp started making parts so was ment to be a bit of lottery engine but the price just tempted me so glad it was a scam otherwise it could have been a money pit ha!
