my boat throws its fat bow (big beam at front) around a bit in a head sea, i usually use ballast to correct it reasonably succesfully. Would trim tabs correct that?

serious jonny?? i know the theory i believe.. surely a well designed boat wouldnt need em though?? although dont they effectively make the hull length longer?? just been on the bennett web site... good speal and i drove the simulator boat and submarined it in 30ft waves!!! do they really effect the ride as much as they say?

Dead serious! you can't design a boat to cope with all the varying situations you'll encounter with different seas. no one ever thinks power trim shouldn't be required, tabs are just another variation.

Glen,
A Hull can be designed to perform well on calm water with no wind or swell. But the reality is thet the water is choppy, the wind is changing direction and your crew have all got ants in their pants!
With Trim Tabs you are able to make your journey much more comfortable for everyone.
Fit em now!
