Volvo DPX

Hi all,

Anyone know of a DPX drive for sale, or where I could get one? Still not happy about running the Bravo on the back of my revenger, a breakage off rocks by sark could be very serious with my daughter on board and this looks like the answer to my prayers!

Anything considered!

Cheers, James

Ohhhhhhhh. Where did you find it?

I'm not sure I like you any more

I've noticed it's possible to get all the bits for SSM drives now too so even a #5 would be great, don't think I'd have the room for a 3A. Doubt I'll find one of those either though

James, I've still got a virtually new DPX lower unit I'll sell but not the whole drive.

Hi Larby,

DPX will be easier to prop out, you seen the prices of Nibral props for DPR.

kips drive may have come from Wootner (Matt Roger) he did have one.

Maybe worth a call to Paul at Coastal Rides, he deals with s/h and recon VP Drives

Sure you don't want to sell it? If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for it and where from? Trying to get an idea of what one would cost...

Cool, may do that.

I've got a couple of other options I'm talking to people about too. One way or another I'll find something strong enough!

dpx has a bent skeg and was free from local volvo dealer and the volvo ssm or e drive was on a 21 ft speedboat i brought then swaped the drive for a 270 volvo and resold for a bit more money to cover my time changing the drive,it had a lovely 3ltre straight six volvo competition motor with triple twin choke solex, which ran on 105 octane rated at 200hp standard and needed a fuel barge following you round
