i didnt think they did just and 300. I thought there was a 300x and a 300xs?

No, 300 is 275hp, 300X is 317hp

totaly different block, 300 has the same block as 'Trucks' 225.

'X' block looks well strong, all gusseted and stiff!...ooh eeeerr.
