Welcome to club!
I was looking for a V24 Bat Boat but found these cats. Now im trying to work out a deal to bring one over and race OPA offshore in the US.
From the research I have done the are class C3 boats. Powered by a mercury 2.5 / 200xs engines. UIM CLASS SPEED record is 106mph and some change
Twister seems to be the main boat to have, Hydrolift is the next and Argo, of the 3 Twister is the only one still producing boats.
I guess some hulls are made in italy, but I cant find out from who or a web. So if anyone knows more info please post.

Are you from the States also?
The long term goal would be to build a class to race along side ( but not against ) the Super Stock class in OPA. Short term would be to race it in class 4 at 85mph. Top speeds are easy, but acceleration is were im going to get killed. But I have a 2.5 mod motor making 320 plus hp. Ill prop it down and spin it to 8500rpm.

Guernsey
Hi there no I'm from Guernsey Channel Islands
We have a relatively small race series over here but do have a lot of different boats 2 x v24 at the moment and including mine 2 x catamarans, but the one I have is on the vintage age and probable with fall apart very soon if I keep using it, the engines, I would like to keep and I'm just trying to find something suitable for 1 or twin set up, but not getting very far with finding anything suitable or in my reasonable small budget, have seen a cat in Florida which is perfect but a little on the large side to our regs, so have to keep looking, how are you getting on with these offshore 225 or 3c cats ??

Shipping quotes are not as simple as calling UPS .. much more difficult than I first thought. But once I can finalize a price I'll get the ball rolling on the boat.
Anyone have any info or help as far as shipping a boat from France to New York / new jersey?
Called Peters & May, still waiting on reply, called our shipping company (still waiting on price)...

Other than that its going to be Argo/Twister or Argentinian hot boat!

Many thanks for the mention - and certainly I had hoped to see more catamaran designs go into production. The 24 / 25' concept did get closer to going into build - but cost (man hours) of tooling is nearly always the hurdle that is too high.
But always happy to talk to any boat builder / companies interested in taking further.
Also have been looking at an X-Cat project / concept too.....
Happy New Year

Many thanks - a project I was really keen to progress. It reached a pretty detailed stage, but not a final design - so actually still easy to modify / customise to suit exact requirements.
Main concept was to create a modern cat to operate with either a large single or a pair of engines. Then to have a boat that handled the rough and the smooth.
There was quite a bit of interest and I know Alan in Ireland is keen to do something around this size........
'Just' a case of completing the plugs and moulds. Design wise I could be ready very soon.

Cat
Would my 26 puma cat be any good for the plug, just a thought, don't mind if it's cut etc to suit your design, as I would defiantly be interested in something like this, 👍👍

While it is certainly possible -it is a really difficult one for me as 1) I would still want to change many aspects of the hull to fit my design and also make it my design, 2) it is getting to close to splashing the original design.
