Not rly picky as long as they are compatible with a 2006 Mariner 225 EFI.

Speedo works on water pressure via a tube & pick-up on the transom.
Tack works on pulses from the stator via the wiring loom to your helm.
There should be a floating socket from the helm, the tack connects there, do you have this bit?
