if you're looking for the studs under the block (ref 2 on the drawing), the thread inside the block is 3/8UNC, and outside where the nut comes the thread is
3/8UNF. (see stud in plastic sachet).
if you're looking for 3/8 UNF ( outside end of stud ) nut, ask your caterpillar dealer
coarse thread UNC/ zinc dichromate plated /hardened (like grade 8)
3/8-16UNC ask for reference 6V-8801
for 3/8UNF-24 ask for reference 3S-2713 (non ardened, like grade 5)
if you're looking for cylinderhead bolt they are 3/8-16
Mercury XR2 Head Bolts 2.30" Length mercury reference is =10-98534
You can also buy caterpillar bolt as replacement , but need washer,
caterpillar reference= bolt 8T-9377 lenght 2'' 1/4 (in this cas its a capscrew but suitable)
for the washer = 8T-4896 3/8 inside diam for the 8T-9377 capscrew.
