XR2 powerhead
Hi, I have an xr2 powerhead for sale complete with non pumper carbs, electrics etc. has low comp on one cylinder.
I bought it for spares but no longer have the boat so surplus to needs and taking up room!
Open to sensible offers, will get pics tomorrow.

Sorry should have said it is for an Alien Cowl
Is the bracket shorter or is it just the locator pin length at the top of the bracket? Just wondering if I could modify it

The cowl is about two inches taller than a drop on,it would require a pin of about four inches which I would have thought would put to much stress on the pin/bracket or mounting bolts.I've had major issues with the cowl coming loose you will need some substantial other fixings to make it stay on.if not it puts to much stress on the top pin mount (bolts sheared)I've just bought some Stainless over centre catches with lock from Demon Tweeks and they are good.Look at the damage that can happen on one of my previous post.Cheers Nic

Having had a conversation with Larby at the Autosport show on Thursday he agreed that the best catches for the job were the Protex Catchbolts that are an overcentre fastener with a locating bolt that holds everything in line. We use them extensively and are simply the best - Protex.com
To be totally fair I should declare that they have sponsored me and the company is run by a family member!
