If theyve genuinely done no work at all, why not rebuild?

225Vmax

Hi Lawrence the answer to your question is I do not have time the engines both need new crankshafts and for conrods at the minimum as they have taken water in through the air filter the blocks are fine and so are all The ancillaries the engines are done less than 10 hours from new I have put a picture of the reeds to show you how bad they are inside which really is not that bad at all but the crank has gone rusty so just saying on the safe side that it will need internals bits are on the American eBay for sale you look at £500 worth of parts to fix them which in the grand scheme of things is not a lot of money the engines are still complete at the moment

Picture of second engine

This is a picture of the second engine which is still complete it is absolutely like brand spanking new these engines have not been submerged purely just water gone in airfields are everything on the outside still moves as it should really is such a shame for someone not to rebuild them there is absolutely no corrosion on these engines at all The one I have partially taken apart is literally just a very fine film of rust it may well clean up but will be up to you
