The downsize with the 199 is : the transom is only 20", if you have a higher transom you can raise the outboard more to get more speed and stability at high speeds.

Well i haven’t tried the 199 alone but It was my friend (he is a boat dealer) who said that he got a 199 last year and he said that it tilted, and therefore he said that it was a nice thing...

I have an idea that the ring 20 is heavier than the 199 and therefore slower but I’m not sure.
I’m sure both boats perform well in rough sea, but again I’m haven’t tried the ring...

I’m eighter a ring 20 or a fletcher bravo 199, Both With mercury 225 optimax or a 300 promax... not sure yet.
