Is this an electric pump? If it is, and it's been rebuilt has the pressure relief valve spring been replacd? If the wrong spring spring has been fitted the pressure could be too high

If it's an electric pump it could be the pressure...

If it's an electric pump it could be the pressure is too high, measure the pressure, should be around 5psi if my memory is correct
