hi many thanks for the reply.is it possible to beef up the transom with extra knees fibre glassed in and leave the brackets out.this is just for normal use,not racing.thanks again.

hi would really appreciate any advise on this.ive just started taking the transom out and have found that there are mild steel angle brackets bolted through the knees and into the transom then...
