clear as crystal. So the black boat never had right of way due to the fact that he was overtaking on the inside and thus in a way kind of a deterant to using such manouveres?

i would like to add though i have no experience in this type of racing but can see the situation that happens in other classes. i do understand that this is how these classes do it.

yeah i can understand where yoi are coming from as i have had the same but unfortunately its incidents like this that can have dire consequences.

What this does show to me though is a start run...

the pace the black boat had is clear to see that the overtake was alread in place as it pretty much happend at the bouy. i dont think you need any more angles.
