I hope so! I'd just learnt my way around an old Merc and we were quite happy working on it ourselves... Hopefully this cowl won't need to come off and we can at least make it to the startline!

my lifter's not the sliding type Jacques, it's just as strong in any position. What kind of prop were you running Burty? Guess I'm just going to have to have a play and see what happens :cheers:

I've just bought an '09 200HO to go on my Ring 21C with combined lifter/gill bracket. Total setback is around 17". I'd like to rig the motor so that the highest setting of the lifter is the highest...
