On the basis that this motor looks to be a spares package and the boat not being cheap enough to justify purchase on that basis I'll be leaving it where it is.

He was very vague about the rpm at WOT ,said the boat was doing 48 knots and he hadn't really made a note of the rpm,but the 70 to 1 mix puts me off a bit.(lot)...

I've attached three pictures of an engine on a rib that I intend to buy
The engine is claimed to be a 200hp Mercury XR2 from around 2000
and that's it !
Any info that you may be able to...
