Yep just go with it. Engine hight I dont think would have a lot to do with it unless it is very low ? Make sure the steering has minimal play in it. We use cable type steering over here for just that...

Ya just gotta steer the thing mate turn the boat in to the way it is falling & try to catch it before it happens if you are behind you will not catch up :brain:
