Think I will nip down my local Halfords then, seems a little less painful option than the Merc tuner :headbang:
Would say I got it in the US when I was over there so hardly cost me...

Basically was just going to follow the instructions on the can which was to squirt the tuner down the carb barrel while running the engine at fast idle then let it sit for 15mins and...

Can anyone tell me if it is adviseable to use the Mercury "Powertune" engine cleaner - I bought a tin but have now been given two different opinions as to whether I should use it or not.
