If dry pits cannot be obtained, at reasonable cost, on IOW, how about asking Hampshire County Council if their amenity centre at Calshot could be used as dry pits/launching...

CPC Race - entry fee
Entry fee for CPC (All sub-classes), was/is £275.
Sub classes are:
Class 10.
A. upto 200 hp.
B. between 200 & 400 hp.
c.between 400 & 600 hp.
d. over 600 hp.
Minimum oal = 18 ft.
max oal = 50...

CTC Race cancellation.
As one of those who tried to get this race to 'take-off-point', & failed, I feel that we are all victims of circumstances.
It was not for the amount of work that everyone of us on the Race...
