North west powerboat meet

Just testing the water here and seeing if there's any interest for a powerboat meet / cruise for the northern lot of us?
The majority of boat meets, cruises, races and poker runs seem to be held down south so if there is enough interest I'll gladly organise some sort of event!

There's loads of us on the north west coast and it would be good to get something organised!

I'll leave it there for now but please get in touch if you are intersted as this could be a really good thing and an anually event!

I'm thinking a poker run and then the night doo on piel island where camping or hotel rooms are available!
Boats would then be left on a mooring and launched at the boat ramp on walney island which is free of charge!

Could be organised for May next year, ideal start to the season

Nearly 20 boats in on this upto now so it's deffinatly a go!
Going to be organised for the start of May which should get the season going nicely! (Subject to weather)
Evening entertainment on the island will be arranged nearer the time!
Piel island has an amazing atmosphere alone so please if you havnt been there come along even if you don't enter the poker run! Please research the island!
As mentioned before, boat launching Is free from walney island (which is where we wiill most probably meet), boats can be moored off piel and the ferry will happily pick you up and take you ashore, camping on piel island is free of charge, hotel rooms can be booked subject to availability. The pub serves lovely meals and drinks from breakfast to evening! You are welcome to bring your own food and beverage for at your tent!
I will express that all boats are welcome as it would be great to see a variety of vessels on the water!
The marks on the run will not be a great distance apart and will be specified nearer the time.

If you are interested the please jut let me know for numbers.

More details to come
